About Our Dog Grooming Training School in New Jersey

Clip Shoppe School of Dog Grooming was founded in 2014 to provide dog grooming training in New Jersey and employable skills in the pet grooming industry. The Clip Shoppe School of Dog Grooming provides the environment in which a student can develop as a skilled dog groomer.

The School was established by Sandy Fitzgerald, a grooming school graduate and successful business owner in the industry, to answer the need for trained dog groomers and the lack of grooming schools. 

Clip Shoppe School of Dog Grooming's philosophy is to develop the Students' skills to the fullest. Our dog grooming school enables students to graduate with experience and confidence by becoming competitive in the high-demand pet care industry. Dog grooming allows for job security anywhere in the world. Our mission is to make grooming a happy and pleasant experience for both the groomer and the dog. 

Our attractive 4,500 square foot facility is located on Route 23 South in Newfoundland, New Jersey. This facility is an up and running successful grooming and boarding business. There are three grooming rooms:

• A bathing and drying room 

• A finishing room 

• A private classroom for quiet instruction and lectures 

 

There is a break room for Students. Both male and female lavatories are available. This is a handicapped-accessible facility. The facility is air-conditioned, heated, and is non-smoking. 

The majority of instruction will be actual hands-on training, along with lecture and video instruction. Demonstrations and hands-on participation have proven to be an effective means of teaching and maintaining student and pet safety. Become a dog groomer today!
 

HOURS OF OPERATION
Classes are in session 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday
and 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday.

We are closed all major holidays.
